Lis Cashin

She/her

Author, speaker and leadership coach

Lis Cashin is a multi-award-winning speaker, best-selling author and personal transformation specialist. From pharmaceuticals to rail, health and safety to finance, banking to media, and hotels, Lis has inspired audiences with her empowering messages. Her mission is to empower women to elevate their self-worth and unlock their latent leadership potential.

Lis's transformative journey, marked by childhood trauma and self-worth struggles, began in an emotionally abusive environment. A devastating school accident at 13 intensified her crippling feelings of self-rejection and self-doubt. Lacking professional support, she faced a decades-long struggle with her self-worth, developing Imposter and Chameleon Syndromes as well as Perfectionist and People Pleasing tendencies, amongst others.

Constantly adapting to try to fit in, she erected an internal glass ceiling, creating self-imposed barriers of relentless self-criticism. Through a journey of self-awareness, Lis dismantled these limitations, emerging resilient and successful. Her journey makes her a compelling, relatable speaker offering practical guidance and empowerment.

In her keynote talks, Lis takes a deeper look into the mechanisms behind imposter syndrome and low self-worth. However, she doesn't stop at awareness but also provides actionable strategies, including the transformative RISING roadmap to elevated self-worth, offering her audience tangible tools to navigate their own paths of self-discovery.

Lis’s story has been featured in the media - on TV and radio shows, podcasts and featured in national newspapers and magazines, including Stephs Packed Lunch, a BBC Ideas short film around self-forgiveness and The Guardian, Telegraph newspapers and Psychologies magazine. Her message is that through personal growth strategies we all have the power to transform our self-worth and unlock our leadership potential.
