ABOUT SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorship is a reciprocal relationship where sponsees gain access to new opportunities, networks, and ideas, while sponsors expand and challenge their own thinking.

Within this relationship, a sponsor actively supports a high-potential sponsee, guiding their progression and advocating for them, even in their absence.

Sponsorship goes beyond mentorship by actively advocating for individuals, opening doors to new opportunities and ensuring their skills and contributions are visible to key decision-makers.

The benefits of sponsorship

Sponsorship is a proven and effective tool for advancing talent, particularly for under-represented groups.

It has the power to unlock untapped potential, foster greater diversity in leadership, and drive transformative business outcomes, ensuring that all talent is empowered to thrive. Sponsorship also helps organisations to better understand and address the systemic barriers these groups face.

Organisations that implement structured sponsorship programmes see significant improvements in retention, representation and engagement.

Sponsorship helps organisations to

About our sponsorship programmes

We offer two options: Sponsorship Circles and 1:1 Sponsorship

Sponsorship Circles (consisting of 1-2 sponsors, 6-8 sponsees) foster opportunities for organic connection, storytelling and advocacy. Facilitators provide key development skills and guide discussions, strengthening sponsorship while boosting confidence, networks and visibility.

1:1 Sponsorship is a career-advancing relationship where a sponsor actively champions a sponsee, leveraging influence, providing guidance and creating opportunities for growth and visibility.

Our programmes are more than just sponsorship programmes — they are catalysts for organisational transformation, creating meaningful cultural and behavioural shifts.
